Vice President and Chief Development Officer

Suma Krishnan served as Vice President, Product Development of New River Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:NRPH) between September 2002 and April 2007. Mrs. Krishnan has 14 years experience in drug development. Prior to joining the Company, Mrs. Krishnan served in the following capacities: Director, Regulatory Affairs at Shire Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company; Senior Project Manager at Pfizer, Inc., a multi-national pharmaceutical company; and a consultant at the Weinberg Group, a pharmaceutical and environmental consulting firm. Mrs. Krishnan has a Masters in Chemistry from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Ferguson College, Pune and an MBA from the Institute of Management, Development and Research, Pune.
